பழைய மனையடி சாஸ்திர புத்தகங்களில் வாஸ்துவை பற்றி எப்படி குறிப்பிடுகின்றது என்று பார்க்கும் பொழுது, புதிய நகர் அமைக்கும் பொழுது இந்த விதிகளை கொஞ்சம் கவனித்து செயல்படுவது நல்லது என்கின்றனர். இதில் வேண்டாத விஷயங்களை நவீன காலத்திற்கு இல்லாது இருக்கும் பொழுது தவிர்த்து விடலாம் என்று சொல்லுகிறார்கள். அந்த வகையில் ஊர் என்பது மற்ற சமுதாய நிகழ்வு சார்ந்த விசயங்களில் மேற்கு பகுதியிலும், எடுக்கின்ற மனைகள் வீடுகள் என்பது மேற்கு மத்திய பகுதிகளும் தெற்கு மத்திய பகுதிகளிலும் அமைக்க வேண்டும். அப்படி அமைக்கின்ற பொழுது ஒரு மனைக்கு கிழக்கு சார்ந்த தென்கிழக்கு சமையல் அறை, அதற்கு மேலும் தென்கிழக்கு பசு தொலுவம், தெற்கு பகுதியில் பள்ளம் இல்லாத குப்பைத் தொட்டி, தென்மேற்கு பகுதியில் தோப்பு துருவுகள் மற்றும் சேமிப்பு கட்டிடங்கள், விவசாயத்தின் துணை கட்டிடங்களை அமைத்துக் கொள்வது நலம். எருமை மற்றும் மாடுகள் கட்டும் சாலைகள் மேற்கு தெற்கு பகுதிகளில் வரவேண்டும். எருமை தொழுவம் மட்டும் வைத்திருக்கிறோம் என்று சொன்னால், தெற்கு பகுதியிலும், மேற்கு பகுதியிலும் அமைத்துக் கொள்ளலாம். தானிய சேமிப்பு அமைப்புகளை தென்மேற்கு பகுதியில் அமைத்துக் கொள்ளலாம். வடக்கு பகுதியிலும், கிழக்கு பகுதியிலும் உணவு என்னும் அறைகளை அமைத்துக் கொள்ளலாம். வடகிழக்கு பகுதியில் தண்ணீர் சார்ந்த கிணறு நீர்ச்சாலைகளை அமைத்துக் கொள்ளலாம். அப்படி அமைக்கின்ற பொழுது அந்த மனை என்பது அது அற்புதமான மனையாக இருக்கும். அதே போல ஒரு மனைக்கு குளம் என்பது வடக்கு, கிழக்கு, வடகிழக்காகவும் அல்லது, மொத்த ஒரு நகர அமைப்பு பகுதியில் தென்கிழக்கு ஈமக்காரியங்கள் செய்யும் இடமாகவும் அமைத்துக் கொள்ளும் பொழுது அந்த நகர் பெரு வளர்ச்சி அடையும்.எக்காரணம் கொண்டும் ஈமகாரிய சுடுகாடு ஒரு நகரம் மற்றும் மனைக்கு இல்லத்திற்கு வீட்டுக்கு வடகிழக்கு தென்மேற்கு வடமேற்கு வாஸ்து வகையில் வரக்கூடாது.
When we see how Vastu is mentioned in the old Manaiyadi Sastra books, they say that it is good to observe these rules while building a new city. It is said that unnecessary things can be avoided in modern times when they are absent. In that way, the village should be built in the western part of other social events, and the plots and houses should be built in the west central and south central areas. When setting up in such a way, it is good to set up an east-facing south-east kitchen, south-east cowshed, south-east ditch-less garbage bin, south-west garden sheds and storage buildings, agricultural ancillary buildings. Roads for buffaloes and cows should come in the western and southern regions. If we say that we have only buffalo shed, we can set it up in south side and west side. Grain storage systems can be set up in the south-west. Dining rooms can be set up in the north and east. Water dependent well aqueducts can be set up in North East region. When it is set up like that, the land will be a wonderful land. Similarly, when a pond is placed in the north, east, northeast or southeast of a city structure, the city will grow greatly. For any reason, the fire pit should not come in the north-east, southwest, northwest Vastu of a city and a house for a house.
