ஒரு இல்லத்தின் சுற்றுப்புற பகுதிகளில் எந்த மாதிரி மரங்களை, செடி கொடிகளை வைக்கலாம் என்று நம்முடைய மக்கள் என்னிடம் கேள்வி கேட்பார்கள். அந்த வகையில் வீட்டின் சுற்றுப்புற பகுதிகளில் தெற்கு மேற்கு பகுதிகளில் உயர்ந்த மரங்களையும், கிழக்கு வடக்கு பகுதியில் தாழ்ந்த உயரம் குறைவான மரங்களையும் அதாவது சுற்றுச்சுவருக்கு கீழாக உள்ள வாஸ்து வகையில் வைத்துக் கொள்ளலாம். அந்த வகையில் தென்னை மரம், பலாமரம், வாழை மரம், கமுகு மரங்கள், மாதுளை மரங்கள், திராட்சை, வேம்பு , எலுமிச்சை, முல்லை, மல்லிகை துளசி,பவளமல்லி, மாமரம், நாரத்தை, பன்னீர் செடிகள் போன்ற மரங்களை வீட்டில் சுற்றுப்புற பகுதிகளில் தாராளமாக வைத்துக் கொள்ளலாம். வீட்டின் அருகில் வைக்கக்கூடாத மரங்கள் என்று பார்க்கும் பொழுது, புளியமரம், அகத்தி மரம், நெல்லி மரம், இலுப்பை மரம், வில்வமரம், முருங்கை மரம், வாகை மரம், மருதமரம், பனைமரம், எட்டி மரம் எருக்கு போன்ற செடிகளை மரங்களை வீட்டின் சுற்றுப்புற பகுதிகளில் வைக்க கூடாது. இது வாஸ்து வகையில் நன்மையை செய்யாது.
