வாஸ்து என்பது சூரியனை இல்லத்திற்கு வரவேற்கின்ற செயலாக பார்க்கப்படுகிறது. சூரியன் தான் மனித வாழ்க்கைக்கு பிரதானம். அப்படி ஒரு இல்லத்திற்கு சூரியன் வரும் போது அந்த இடத்தின் வெற்றி பிரகாசமாக தெரிகின்றது. சூரியனே இல்லாத இருட்டில் மனிதர்கள் வாழ முடியுமா? என்று சொன்னால் 100% முடியாது . அதுபோல உலகில் மக்கள் தொகை பெருக்கத்திற்கு உதாரணமாக இருக்கக்கூடிய நாடு நமது நாடு இதற்கு காரணம் மனிதர்கள் அதிக பிறப்பு வீதமும் இந்தியாவில் தான். இதற்கு காரணம் சூரியன்தான். அதை சூரியன் எங்கு பிரகாசமாக இருக்கின்றதோ? அங்கு தான் உயிர்கள் சிறப்பாக வாழ்க்கையை வாழ முடியும். அந்த வகையில் எந்த இல்லத்திற்கு சூரியனை உள்ளே நுழைத்து விடுகின்றோமோ, அந்த இடம் தான் அந்த இடத்தில் வசிக்கிற மக்கள் தான் சிறப்பான வாழ்க்கை வாழ்வார்கள். அந்த வகையில் எப்பொழுதுமே வடக்கு திறப்புக்களாக இருக்க வேண்டும். வடக்கு திறந்தால் மட்டுமே சூரிய ஒளி சரியான முறையில் ஒரு இடத்திற்கு வரும். ஆக வடக்கு பகுதியில் ஒரு நிலத்தில் காலியிடமும்,கட்டிடத்தின் வடக்கு பகுதியில் ஜன்னல் இல்லாமலும் ஒரு இல்லம் கட்டும் பொழுது வாஸ்து முதல் குறையாக பார்க்கப்படுகிறது.

Can humans live in the dark without the sun? If you say that, it is not possible 100%. Similarly, our country can be an example of population growth in the world because of the high birth rate in India. The reason for this is the sun. Where does the sun shine? It is only there that life can live a better life. In that way, the people who live in that place will live a good life. In that case it should always be north openings. Only if the north is open will the sunlight reach a place properly. Thus, when a house is built in a vacant land in the north and without a window in the north side of the building, it is considered as the first defect in Vastu.
