வடக்கு திசையின் அதிபதி குபேரன். இவருக்கு இந்து மத சாஸ்திரத்தில் திரியம்பகன் என்கின்ற பெயர் இருக்கின்றது. இவர் சிவபெருமானுக்கு நல்ல நண்பர். இவருக்கு ஒரு முகமும், இரண்டு கைகளும் இருக்கின்றதாக இந்து மத சாஸ்திரம் கூறுகிறது. வலது கையில் ஈட்டியையும், இடது கையில் பொற்குடத்தையும் சித்ரிணி என்கிற மனைவியோடு இருக்கக்கூடியதாக இந்துமத ஆகமம் கூறுகிறது. மேலும் குதிரையை வாகனமாகக் கொண்டவர். இவர் தங்க நிறத்தில் இருக்கின்றவர். செல்வத்துக்கு அதிபதியாக இருக்கின்றவர். இவர் செல்வத்தை காக்கும் கடவுளாக இருக்கின்றார். ஆக இந்த வடக்கு திசை வடகிழக்கோடு வளர்ந்து இருந்தால், அந்த வீட்டுக்காரன் பணத்தை காப்பாற்றுகிற மனிதனாக இருப்பான். இது வாஸ்து ரீதியாக மிகுந்த நன்மையை அளிக்கின்ற விஷயம். குபேரனை வளர்த்துக் கொண்டு செல்வதாக வாஸ்து சாஸ்திரம் கூறுகிறது.
