அடிப்படை வாஸ்து விதிகள் இன்னும் சொல்லும் பொழுது இந்த இடத்தில் ஒருவர் சரியான முறையில் ஞாபகம் வைத்துக்கொள்ள சூரியன் உதிக்கின்ற திசை கிழக்கு. ஆக நீங்க கிழக்கு நோக்கி நின்றீர்கள் என்று சொன்னால் உங்களுக்கு தலைக்கு பின்புறம் உள்ள திசை மேற்கு. உங்களது வலது கை இருக்கக்கூதிசை தெ தெற்கு. இடது கை இருக்கக்கூடிய திசை வடக்கு. ஆக இந்த விதிகளை நீங்கள் தெரிந்து கொண்டால் வாஸ்து வகையில் மிகச் சிறப்பான திசைகளை ஞாபகம் வைத்துக்கொள்ள ஏதுவாக இருக்கும். அந்த வகையில் எப்பொழுதுமே ஒரு சில இடங்களில் திசைகள் உங்களுக்கு தெரியாது. அப்படி திசைகள் தெரியவில்லை என்று சொன்னால் எந்த இடத்திலுமே ஒரு வாஸ்து நிபுணருக்கு , அல்லது வாஸ்து அறிவுள்ள ஒரு மனிதருக்கு ஒரு திசை காட்டியோ ஒரு செல்போனில் இருக்கிற திசை காட்டியோ தனியாக ஒரு திசைகாட்டி கருவியோ 100 சதவீதம் தேவையில்லை என்று சொல்லுவேன். திசைகாட்டி இல்லாமலேயே திசை தெரிந்துகொள்ள முடியும். அந்த வகையில் மிகச் சரியான வாஸ்து விதிகளுக்கு உட்பட்டுதான் 80 சதவீத 90 சதவீத கட்டிடங்களை கட்டியிருப்பார்கள். அந்த வகையில் எப்பொழுதுமே தென்மேற்கு திசையில் தான் ஒரு கட்டிடத்தில் தண்ணீர் தொட்டி இருக்கும். அந்த திசையை நீங்கள் பார்த்துக் கொண்டு தமிழ்நாட்டில் எங்கு வேண்டுமானாலும் திசைகளை தெரிந்து கொள்ளலாம். ஆக இந்த ஒரு விஷயத்தை ஞாபகம் வைத்துக் கொண்டால் திசைகள் உங்களுக்கு எளிதாக புரிந்துவிடும். இந்த விஷயம் நான் சொல்லுகிற விஷயம் என்னைப் போல என்று சொல்வதை விட, நான் ஒரு காலத்தில் 10 வருடங்களுக்கு முன்பு வாஸ்து கற்றுக் கொள்ள பல குருநாதர்களிடம் செல்லும் பொழுது இந்த விஷயத்தை தான் முதலில் எடுத்துக் கொண்டேன். ஆக என்னை பாலோ செய்கிற என்னை தொடர்பு கொள்கிற தொடர்ந்து வருகிற , வாஸ்து அறிவை தெரிந்து கொள்ள வேண்டும் என்று நினைக்கிற மக்கள் இந்த ஒரு விதியை ஞாபகம் வைத்துக் கொள்ளுங்கள். எப்பொழுதுமே வாஸ்துவில் திசைகளில் அடிப்படை விதிகள் உங்களுக்கு மறக்காது.

As the basic Vastu rules further state that one should remember correctly at this place that the direction of the rising sun is east.
