கதவுகளை பொருத்தளவில் நிறைய மனிதர்கள் என்னிடம் கேட்கக் கூடிய கேள்வி என்னவென்றால் இரட்டைப்படை ஒற்றைப்படை என்கிற கேள்வியை கேட்பார்கள். என்னை பொறுத்த அளவில் உங்கள் விருப்பம் எதுவோ அதன் அடிப்படையில் வைத்துக்கொள்ளலாம் என்பேன். ஒற்றைப்படையாக இருந்தாலும், இரட்டை படையாக இருந்தாலும் நன்மையை தான் கொடுக்கும் என்பேன். ஒருவகையில் ஒற்றைப்படை கதவுகள் கூட சிறப்பு என்பதால் சொல்லுவேன் என்று சொன்னால் திறப்புகளை பொறுத்த அளவில் உள்ளே அமைத்தால் சிறப்பு. அதே ஒற்றைப்படை இரவுகளில், இரட்டைப்படை கதவுகளில் இரண்டு பக்கமும் அதாவது பாசிட்டிவாக இல்லாமலும் நெகட்டிவாக இல்லாமலும் இருக்கும் அமைப்பில் திறக்கப்படுகின்றது , இரட்டை நிலை கதவுகள் என்பதும், ஒற்றை நிலை கதவுகள் என்பதும் அந்தக் காலத்தில் பெரிய அளவில் அகலமான முறையில் கதவுகளை செய்ய முடியாது. மற்றும் அது சார்ந்த தொழில் நுட்பம் அந்த காலத்தில் தெரியாத காரணத்தாலும் சிறிய கதவுகள் ஆக இரண்டு நிலைகளாக செய்தார்கள். ஆனால் இந்த காலத்தில் தொழில்நுட்ப விஷயங்கள் இருக்கின்ற காரணத்தால் ஒரே கதவாக செய்துகொள்கின்றனர். இந்த இடத்தில் மக்கள் கேட்கக்கூடிய கேள்வி என்பது வாஸ்து ரீதியாக நல்லதா. ஒற்றைப்படை நல்லதா, இரட்டைப்படை நல்லதா என்று தெரியாத கேள்வியாக தான் அவர்கள் கேட்கிறார்கள் என்று சொல்லுவேன். எதை வேண்டுமானாலும் வைத்துக்கொள்ளுங்கள். அந்த இடத்தின் தன்மையை பொறுத்து சிறிய அறையாக இருக்கின்ற இடத்தில் இரட்டைக் கதவுகள் நல்லதை கொடுக்கும். பெரிய அறை இருக்கும் இடத்தில் ஒற்றை கதவுகள் இடத்தை அடைக்காது.
