Just as men return home to rest at night and depart for work during the day, the Sun, too, should enter the house only to a certain extent before exiting. It is only when a house is structured in this manner that the women residing within it will lead lives filled with great fortune and prosperity. Indeed, it is only when the women of a household are well and thriving that the home becomes a source of abundance, bestowing every good thing upon its inhabitants. It is primarily the women of a household who instill the values ​​of discipline, duty, and dignity. If one were to ask whether men do not contribute these qualities, the answer is certainly that they do; however, the ultimate responsibility for nurturing these values ​​rests entirely with the women. Men are typically absent from the home for approximately 30% of their lives, whereas women spend about 70% of their time within the house. Consequently, in terms of the home’s overall significance, the highest weightage—the “highest percentage”—belongs to the women. Therefore, to ensure that the women of the household lead fulfilling lives, the house itself must be structurally sound and aligned with Vastu principles. A home must be designed in such a way that every female member—from the grandmother to the wife, daughter-in-law, and granddaughters—lives in a state of well-being. To achieve this state of well-being, the Northwest and Southeast zones of the house must strictly adhere to the rules of Vastu Shastra. Ensure that you verify and rectify these specific areas first; once you have done so, everything else in your life will naturally fall into its rightful place.
