இந்த பிரபஞ்சம் முழுவதும் ஒரு நியதி இருக்கின்றது. இந்த பூமி, வானம், மனிதன், வீடு எல்லாமுமே ஒரு குழுவில் தான் இருக்க வேண்டும். வேதங்களின் சாரம்தான் சாஸ்திரங்கள். சாஸ்திரங்கள் என்றால் கட்டளை, உத்தரவு, இப்படித்தான், என்று எடுத்துக் கொள்ள வேண்டும். அந்த வகையில் வாஸ்து என்பதனை கூட வசிப்பிடத்தை சாஸ்திரத்தோடு இணைத்து நம்முடைய முன்னோர்கள் வைத்திருக்கின்றார்கள் என்று காஞ்சி மகா பெரியவர் கூறுகின்றார். வீடு பேறு என்ற வார்த்தையை வீடு பெற நில் என்ற வார்த்தைகள் கொண்டு அவ்வையார் அவர்கள் கூறுகின்றார்கள். வீடு என்பது துன்பம் நீங்க என்றும், இடம் என்பது பெற என்றும், அடைவது என்பது நில் என்றும் ஆக, நல்வழியில் நாம் நிற்பது, துன்பமில்லாத இடம் தான் வீடு என்று பொருள் கொள்ளலாம். ஒரு வீடு கட்டி அதில் வசிக்கின்ற பொழுது அதில் வசிக்கின்ற மக்களுக்கு துன்பம் என்பது வரக்கூடாது . அதற்கு தக்கவாறு வீட்டை அமைக்க வேண்டும். எந்த ஒரு வீட்டிலாவது கஷ்டங்கள் அதிகமாகி, கஷ்டம் நிறைந்த வீடா இருக்கின்ற பொழுது அது ஒழுங்கின்படி அமைப்பின்படி அது கட்டப்படவில்லை பல கோளாறுகளுடன் தாறுமாறாக தங்கள் இஷ்டத்திற்கு அறிந்தோ அறியாமலோ கட்டப்பட்டிருக்கின்றன என்பது உண்மை. இதனைத் தான் வாரியார் சுவாமிகள் கூட எந்த ஒரு இடத்தில் கல்வி, செல்வம், சுகம், நிம்மதி, இவைகளில் ஒன்றுகூட ஒரு மனிதனுக்கு கிடைக்கவில்லையோ, அந்த வீட்டில், அந்த இடத்தில் ஒரு பகல் கூட வசிக்கக் கூடாது என்று உறுதியாக ஆணித்தரமாக கூறுகின்றார். இந்த இடத்தில், இந்த பிரபஞ்சத்தில் எங்கு பார்த்தாலும் வெற்றிடங்கள் தான். அதாவது காலியிடம். ஆக வானவெளி கூட ஒரு கிரகங்களுக்கு இடையே வெற்றிடம் என்பது அதிகம். ஏன் அணுவில் புரோட்டானும் எலக்ட்ராணும் கூட குறிப்பிட்ட இடைவெளி காலியிடம் எடுத்துக் கொண்டால் தான் புரோட்டானை எலக்ட்ரான் வேகமாக சுற்றி வருகிறது. அப்படியானால் நாம் கட்டும் இல்லத்தில் காலியிடம் என்பது மிக மிக முக்கியம். எப்படி பிரபஞ்சம் பல உன்னதங்களை இந்த பூமிக்கு கொடுக்கிறதோ, இந்த உயிர்களுக்கு கொடுக்கிறதோ அதுபோல, ஒரு இல்லத்தில் இருக்கும் காலியிடம் கூட, அந்த வீட்டில் வசிக்கும் மக்களின் நன்மையை மட்டுமே செய்யும். ஆக வீட்டைச் சுற்றி இருக்கின்ற காலியிடங்கள் ஒரு மனிதனின் தலைவிதியை நிச்சயமாக மாற்றும். ஆக காலியிடம் என்பது ஒவ்வொரு இல்லத்திலும் மிக மிக முக்கியம். இதை வாஸ்து சாஸ்திரம் சரியான முறையில் கூறுகின்றது. இதனை தான் வடக்கும் கிழக்கும் அதிக காலியிடம், தெற்கும் மேற்கும் குறைந்த காலி இடம். இதை குறித்து வைத்து ஒரு வீடு கட்டும்பொழுது வாஸ்து வழியில் முதல் படியை தொட்டுவிட்டோம் என்று எடுத்துக் கொள்ளலாம்.

When difficulties increase in any house and there is a house full of difficulties, it is true that it was not built according to order and structure, but with many irregularities and built according to their own wishes, knowingly or unknowingly. This is why even Wariyar Swamiji firmly states that a person should not live in a house or a place where he does not get any of these things, education, wealth, happiness, peace, even for a day. Wherever you look in this place, in this universe, there are voids. That is, empty space. So even the sky is a lot of void between planets. Why does the proton and electron in an atom move around the proton faster only when they take a certain gap of empty space. So, empty space is very, very important in the house we build. Just as the universe gives many noble things to this earth and to these living beings, similarly, even the empty space in a house will only benefit the people living in that house. So the empty spaces around the house will definitely change the fate of a person. So empty space is very, very important in every house. Vastu Shastra says this correctly. This is why the north and east have more empty space, and the south and west have less empty space.
