புது வீடு கட்ட வாஸ்து பூஜை.
பூமி பூஜை என்கிற ஒரு நிகழ்வு மிக மிக முக்கியம் . எந்த மதத்தைச் சார்ந்த மனிதர்களாக இருந்தாலும் அந்த கட்டிடம் கட்டுகிற மனிதர்கள் புதிதாக பூஜையை செய்துதான் தொடங்குவார்கள். ஒரு வீடு கட்டுகிற வேற்று மதத்தை சார்ந்த மனிதராக இருந்தாலும் அது சார்ந்த வழிபாடு இல்லை என்று சொன்னாலும் கூட அதனை கட்டிடம் கட்டுகிற மக்கள் வேறு மதத்தை சார்ந்தவராக இருப்பார்கள். அவர்கள் பூஜை செய்துதான் வேலையை தொடங்குவார்கள். அந்த வகையில் நமது சாஸ்திரங்கள் ஒரு எட்டு மாதங்களில் நாட்களைக் குறித்து இருக்கிறார்கள். அந்த நாட்களில் பூமி பூஜை தொடங்க சிறப்பு என்று சொல்லி இருக்கிறார்கள். அப்படி சொல்லி இருந்தாலும் அந்த நாள் நல்ல நாளாக இருக்கின்ற பொழுது அந்த நாளை நம் தேர்ந்தெடுத்துக் கொள்ளலாம். இல்லை என்றால் அதனை தவிர்த்து விடுவது நலம் என்று சொல்வேன். அந்த வகையில் தை மாதம் 12ஆம் தேதி காலை 9:47 இல் இருந்து 11 17 வரையிலும், மாசி மாதம் 22ஆம் தேதி காலை 9:38 இலிருந்து 11 .08 வரையிலும், சித்திரை மாதம் பத்தாம் தேதி காலை 8 மணியில் இருந்து ஒன்பது முப்பது மணி வரையிலும் , வைகாசி மாதம் 21ஆம் தேதி காலை 9 மணி நான்கு நிமிடத்தில் இருந்து பத்து மணி 34 நிமிடம் வரையிலும், ஆவணி மாதம் ஆறாம் தேதி மதியம் 2 மணி 24 நிமிடத்திலிருந்து 3.54 வரையிலும், ஐப்பசி மாதம் மாலை நேரத்திலும், கார்த்திகை மாதம் காலை அதாவது எட்டாம் தேதி காலை 10 மணி 11 நிமிடத்தில் இருந்து 11.41 நிமிடங்கள் வரையிலும் இந்த பூமி பூஜையை செய்யலாம். இதில் ஐப்பசி ஆவணி மாதம் மாலை நேரம் வருவதால் அதை தவிர்க்க வேண்டும். ஆடி மாதம் பூமி பூஜை போடுவதற்கு உகந்த மாதம் கிடையாது. அதனால் அந்த நாளையும் தவிர்த்துக் கொள்ள வேண்டும். ஒரு சில இடங்களில் சித்திரை மாதம் தவிர்க்கிறார்கள். அதையும் தவிர்த்துக் கொள்ளலாம். ஒரு சில இடங்களில் தை மாதம் தவிர்க்கிறார்கள் அதனையும் தவிர்த்துக் கொள்ளலாம்.மீதி இருக்கும் இந்த மாதங்கள் எல்லாம் உங்களுக்கு நல்ல நேரம் இருந்தால் மட்டுமே பூஜை செய்யுங்கள். இல்லை என்று சொன்னால் ஒரு முகூர்த்த நாளில் அந்த பூமி பூஜை செய்வது நலம் என்று சொல்லுவேன்.

Thus our scriptures refer to the days in an eight month period. They say that it is special to start Bhumi Puja on those days. That being said, if that day is a good day, we can choose that day. If not then I would say it is better to avoid it. Thus, 12th day of Tai month is from 9:47 am to 11:17 am, 22nd day of Masi month is from 9:38 am to 11:08 am, 10th day of Chitrai month is from 8:00 am to 9:30 am and 21st day of Vaikasi month is 9:00 am. This Bhoomi Pooja can be done from four minutes to ten hours and 34 minutes, on the sixth day of Avani from 2 hours 24 minutes to 3.54 in the afternoon, in the evening of the month of Aippasi, and on the morning of Karthikai month i.e. on the eighth day from 10 hours 11 minutes to 11.41 minutes. It should be avoided as it falls in the evening in the month of Aipasi Avani. The month of Aadi is not an auspicious month to perform Bhumi Puja. So that day should also be avoided. A few places skip Chitra month. That too can be avoided. In some places they skip the month of Tai and you can skip it too. Do puja only if you have good time for all these remaining months. If you say no, then I will say that it is good to do that Bhoomi Puja on a Mugurtha day.
