மரங்கள் செடிகள் வைப்பதற்கு வாஸ்து என்று பார்க்கின்ற பொழுது இயற்கையின் மிகப்பெரிய கொடை தான் மரங்களும் சிறுசெடிகளும் மனிதனுக்கு தேவையான ஆக்ஸிஜனை உற்பத்தி செய்கிற தொழிற்சாலையாக மரங்கள் செயல்படுகின்றன. ஒரு புல்வெளி கூட கார்பன் டாக்சைடு வாயுவை உட்கொண்டு நல்ல ஒரு ஆக்ஸிஜன் கொடுக்கிறது. மனிதர்களுக்கு ஒவ்வொரு மரங்களும் ஒரு வீட்டிற்க்கான காற்றை சுத்தப்படுத்துகிற நிகழ்வாக பார்க்கப்படுகிறது. அந்த வகையில் வீட்டில் மரங்களை வைக்கின்ற பொழுது, தெற்கு மேற்கு என்று நவீன காலத்தில் இடங்கள் இருப்பது கிடையாது. நகர்ப்புற பகுதியில் இந்த வாய்ப்பு இல்லை. பெரிய அளவில் இடம் இருந்தால் மட்டுமே அதை செயல்படுத்த முடியும். தெற்கு சார்ந்த மேற்கு சார்ந்த பகுதிகளில் தாராளமாக மரங்களை வைத்துக் கொள்ளலாம் . இடங்கள் இல்லை என்றால் வைக்கக்கூடாது. தென்கிழக்கு பகுதியிலும் மரங்களை வைத்துக் கொள்ளலாம். சிறிய செடிகளை அது சார்ந்த பகுதிகளிலும் வைத்துக் கொள்ளலாம். சிறிய புல்வெளிகள் பூச்செடிகளை வடக்கு வடமேற்கு கிழக்கு தென்கிழக்கு சார்ந்த பகுதிகளில் வைத்துக் கொள்ளலாம். ஆக செடி கொடி மரங்களை வைப்பது வாஸ்து ரீதியாக தவறு.
