வீட்டின் தலை வாயில் மற்றும் ஜன்னல்கள் அதன் அமைப்பு சார்ந்த ஒரு வாஸ்து பதிவை தெரிந்து கொள்வோம். ஜன்னல்களின் சரியான ஒரு அமைப்பு என்பது சதுரம் அல்லது செவ்வகமாக அமைத்துக் கொள்வது சாலச் சிறந்தது. ஒருவேளை மனம் போன போக்கில் பலவிதமான வடிவங்களில் ஜன்னல்களையோ கதவுகளையோ அமைப்பது என்பது தவறு. எப்பொழுதுமே பழைய பதிவுகள் தான் வரலாறு. அந்த வகையில் வாஸ்து சார்ந்த விஷயத்திலும் கூட இன்றைய நிகழ்வாக பார்க்கப்படுகிற விஷயம் பழைய ஆர்ச் வடிவங்கள் இன்றைய நவீன காலத்தில் பொருந்தாது என்று சொல்லலாம். அது வாஸ்துவை ஊக்கப்படுத்துகிற ஒரு செயலாக இருக்காது ஆகவே ஜன்னல்களின் அளவுகள் என்பது நான்கடிக்கு நான்கு அடி ஆகவும் அல்லது, 4×3 அடியாகவும் அமைத்துக் கொள்வது சாலச்சிறந்தது . நான்கடிக்கு அதிகமாக இருக்கும் பொழுது வாஸ்து ரீதியாக திசைகளை பொருத்த அளவில் தவறாக முடிந்து விடும். வடக்கு கிழக்கு பகுதிகளில் தாராளமாக ஆறடி 5 அடி 7 அடி எட்டடி உயரம் அகலத்தில் கூட ஜன்னல்களை வைக்கலாம். அதே சமயம் தெற்கு சார்ந்த மேற்கு சார்ந்த பகுதிகளில் மிகப்பெரிய அளவில் உயரமான ஜன்னல்களை வைக்கக்கூடாது. அதாவது கிழக்கு சார்ந்த, வடக்கு சார்ந்த உச்ச பகுதிகளிலும் அகலம் நீளம் அதிகமாக  நீச்ச பகுதிகளில் சிறிய அளவாகவும் அமைக்க வேண்டும்  அதாவது வடக்கும் மேற்கு பகுதியிலும் கிழக்கின் தெற்கு பகுதியிலும் உயரம் குறைந்த அளவாக ஜன்னல்களை அமைக்க வேண்டும். அதேபோல எந்த இடத்திலும் கட்டிடத்தில் மேல் பகுதியில் அரைவட்ட அமைப்பு அது ஜன்னல்களாக இருந்தாலும் சரி, கதவுகளாக இருந்தாலும் சரி சுவர்களாக இருந்தாலும் சரி அரைவட்ட அமைப்பு என்பது வரக்கூடாது. அது வாஸ்து வகையில் குற்றமே.
