வாஸ்துவில் திசைகளின் மூலக்கூறுகள்  என்கிற விஷயம் தெரிந்தோ தெரியாமலோ பல காலமாக இந்த பூமியில் கடைபிடிக்கப்பட்டு வருகிறது. அந்த வகையில் நான்கு திசைகளும், நான்கு மூலைகளும் மிக மிக முக்கியம். 4 திசைகள் என்று சொல்லுகின்ற போது வடக்கு கிழக்கு தெற்கு மேற்கு என்று சொல்கின்றோம். நான்கு மூலைகள் என்று சொல்லும் பொழுது வடகிழக்கு மூலை, தென்கிழக்கு மூலை, தென்மேற்கு மூலை, வடமேற்கு மூலை என்று சொல்கின்றோம்.வடக்கு கிழக்கு சந்திக்கும் மூலையை  ஈசானிய மூலை சனி மூலை என்று பல வகைகளில் கூறுகிறார்கள். தெற்கு கிழக்கு சந்திக்கும் மூலையை அக்னி மூலை என்று சொல்கிறோம்.மற்றும் ஆக்கினேயம் என்றும் சொல்கின்றோம். தெற்கும் மேற்கும் சந்திக்கும் மூலையை தென்மேற்கு மூலையை நைருதி மூலை என்று சொல்கிறோம்.மற்றும் கன்னிமூலை பா மூலை பழனி மூலை என்றும் சொல்லுகின்றோம். அடுத்து வடக்கும் மேற்கும் சந்திக்கும் மூலையை வடமேற்கு என்று சொல்லுகிறோம்.மற்றும் வாயு மூலை  என்றும் சொல்லுகின்றோம். கிழக்கு திசை இந்திர திசை என்றும், தெற்கு திசையை எமன் திசை என்றும், மேற்கு திசையை  வருண திசை என்றும், வடக்கு திசையை குபேர திசை என்றும் அழைக்கின்றோம். இந்த வகையில் வடகிழக்கு என்று சொல்லக்கூடிய ஈசான மூலை வெளியில் வரலாம் என்றும் வாஸ்து வகையில் செல்கின்றார்கள். ஆக எனது வாஸ்து அறிவுக்கு எட்டிய வகையில் எந்த திசைகளுமே வளரக்கூடாது. குறையக்கூடாது. அதை கவனத்தில் கொண்டு ஒரு வீட்டை ஒரு கட்டிடத்தை கட்ட வேண்டும். அதுதான் வாஸ்து வகையில் சிறப்பு.
