மாடிப்படிகள் அமைக்கும்போது ஒரு சில வாஸ்து விதிகளை கவனித்து அமைப்பது சாலச் சிறந்தது. தென்கிழக்கில் வாஸ்துபடி படிகள் வரலாம். வடமேற்கு பகுதியில் வாஸ்துபடி படிகள் வரலாம். தென்மேற்கில் மேற்காக இருந்தாலும் சரி, தெற்காக இருந்தாலும் சரி வாஸ்து முறையில் படிகள் வரலாம் என்று என்னைப் போல் இருக்கிற வாஸ்து மக்கள் சொல்வார்கள். இந்த விதியை ஒருவர் ஏற்றுக்கொண்டு நீளமாக அகலம் குறைவாக இருக்கக் கூடிய இடங்களில் ஒரு படிகளை அமைக்கும் பொழுது வாஸ்து விசயத்தில் கவனத்தில் கொண்டு அமைப்பது சாலச்சிறந்தது. அந்த வகையில் வடக்கு பார்த்த வட மேற்கில் படிக்கள் அமைகின்ற பொழுது அந்த படிகள் ஒரே நேராக ஏறி மேற்கில் உள்ள நுழைந்து கிழக்காக பயணப்படுவது போல அமைக்க வேண்டும். நேராக மேற்கு ஏறி தெற்கு நுழைவது போல எக்காரணம் கொண்டும் அமைக்க கூடாது. அதேபோல ஒரே நேர்குத்து படிகளை கிழக்கு பகுதியில் அமைகின்ற பொழுது நேராக தெற்கு நோக்கி ஏறி மேற்கு திரும்பி, தென்கிழக்கு தெற்கு வழியாக உள்ளே நுழைய வேண்டும். நேராக தெற்கு நோக்கி ஏறி நேராக மேற்கு நோக்கி நுழைவே கூடாது அது வாஸ்துதிராக தவறாக முடிந்து விடும். தென்மேற்கு பகுதிகள் நுழைவது போல தெற்கு சார்ந்த படிகளையும் மேற்கு சார்ந்த படிகளையும் ஒரே செங்குத்தாக செல்கிற படிகளை அமைக்க கூடாது. வாஸ்து வகையில் படிகளை மிகச் சரியான முறையில் அமைப்பது சாலச் சிறந்தது. எக்காரணம் கொண்டும் மனம் போன போக்கில் பொதுவான மனிதர்கள் சொல்கிறார்கள் என்றோ, மேஸ்திரி இன்ஜினியர் சொல்கிறார்கள் என்றோ தவறான முறையில் படிகளை அமைத்துவிடக் கூடாது. அப்படி படி அமைப்பில் சந்தேகம் இருந்தால் என்னை போன்ற வாஸ்து நிபுணர்கள் தொடர்பு கொண்டு அமைப்பது சாலச் சிறந்தது.
